The New Breed is the third studio album by American rapper MC Breed, released in 1993 by Wrap Records. The album was produced by Colin Wolfe, The D.O.C. and Warren GThe New Breed found decent success, making it to #156 on the Billboard 200 and #17 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, but the album is best known for the hit single "Gotta Get Mine", a collaboration with Tupac Shakur. "Gotta Get Mine" made it to #6 on the Hot Rap Singles, #96 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #61 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Singles & Tracks. Another single, "Tight", made it to #19 on the Hot Rap Singles.
