Edward Archer (born 16 May 1972), better known by his stage name Special Ed, is an American rapper. Hailing from Brooklyn, he is best known for the songs "I Got It Made" and "I'm The Magnificent", both produced by Howie Tee and released in 1989 on the Youngest in Charge album, recorded when Ed was sixteen years old. In 1990, he released his second studio album Legal, the title referencing him being eighteen, with the singles "Come On, Let's Move It" and "The Mission".

After a several year hiatus, he became a member of the ad hoc group Crooklyn Dodgers, a collective formed to perform for the Spike Lee films Crooklyn and Clockers. Ed released a third solo album, Revelations, in 1995. In 2004, he released his fourth studio album, Still Got It Made, on his own label, Semi Records.
