Members

Showbiz & A.G. are an American hip hop duo from The Bronx, New York City. The group consists of producer Showbiz and rapper A.G., who are both members of D.I.T.C. The two first met when they both worked on Lord Finesse's album Funky Technician in 1990. They debuted as a duo in 1991 with the EP Soul Clap, which was followed by the release of their first studio album Runaway Slave the following year. Although both received positive reviews from critics, neither did well commercially.

Showbiz shortened his stage name to Show, and the two released their second album, Goodfellas, in 1995 under the name Show & A.G.. The album featured a much darker sound than their debut, and became well known for the DJ Premier remix to the song "Next Level". Following the release of Full Scale LP in 1998, the duo temporarily stopped making albums together to work on songs with D.I.T.C. and solo projects. A.G. released his solo album The Dirty Version in 1999, and the two made prominent contributions to D.I.T.C.'s self-titled debut album in 2000. Show and A.G. both released their albums in the new millennium, before collaborating for the 2007 EP Live Hard, their first new material in nearly a decade.
