Return of the Funky Man is the second studio album by American hip hop musician Lord Finesse, released in February 11, 1992 on Giant Records. Recording sessions was taken place at Jazzy Jay's Recording Studio in Bronx, New York and 1212 Recording Studio in Jamaica, Queens from January to July 1991. Production was handled by Diamond D, Showbiz, DJ Aladdin, Slej Tha Ruffedge and Lord Finesse, with co-production from Latif and Peter Wane. It includes guest appearances by Harry-O, Shelrumble, Percee P and A.G..
The album peaked at #95 on US Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. Return of the Funky Man spawned the singles: "Party Over Here" and the title track "Return of the Funky Man" (which made it to #13 on the Hot Rap Songs chart).
Lord Finesse made an appearance alongside Big L and DJ Mike Smooth on Yo! MTV Raps in 1992 to promote the album. Big L made his debut appearance on a remix of the song "Yes You May", which appeared on the B-side of the "Party Over Here" single.
