Omar Credle (born May 13, 1971), better known by his stage name O.C., is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He has been involved with several renowned underground hip hop groups, most notably D.I.T.C., and also released many solo albums. He made his debut on the song "Fudge Pudge" from Organized Konfusion's 1991 self-titled album. In 1992, he first met MC Serch, who would later sign O.C. to the Wild Pitch Records label. He released his debut album, Word...Life, in 1994, which received critical acclaim. O.C. appeared on the song "Return of the Crooklyn Dodgers" in 1995 as a member of the Crooklyn Dodgers.

O.C. signed to Payday Records in 1997, where he released his second album Jewelz. The single "Far From Yours" peaked at #81 on the Billboard Hot 100, making it his highest charting single to date. By this time, he was a prominent member of the Diggin' in the Crates Crew, and was featured on the majority of the songs from their 2000 self-titled debut album. His 2001 album Bon Appetit received mixed reviews, and resulted in a four year hiatus. O.C. returned in 2005 with the release of two albums: Starchild and Smoke and Mirrors.

In 2009, O.C. collaborated with fellow D.I.T.C. member A.G. for an album entitled Oasis. Three years later, he released another collaborative album in the form of Trophies with Detroit-based producer Apollo Brown. He released the album, Ray's Cafe with producer Ray West, the founder of the Red Apples 45 label, in 2014. In 2017, he released the album Same Moon Same Sun - 1st Phase as his first solo album in twelve years. He released a sequel, A New Dawn, the following year.
