Mobstyle was an American hip hop group from Harlem, New York. The group consisted of rappers A.Z., Pretty Tone Capone, Gangster Lou and Whip Wop, who were hustlers within the Harlem area during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The group were among the first hip hop artists to release their albums independently with 1990's The Good, the Bad, the Ugly and 1992's Game of Death, establishing an example for future independent artists to follow at a time when major labels were the most popular and successful way to release music. The group reunited in 2003 to release their final album, Blood on My Money.
