Malik Cox (born 23 June 1978), better known by his stage name Memphis Bleek, is an American rapper from Brooklyn, New York. He is mainly known for his tenure with Roc-A-Fella Records, and was one of the label's first artists. As a protégé of longtime friend Jay Z, he made his debut on the 1996 album Reasonable Doubt on the song "Coming of Age". Bleek's debut album, Coming of Age, was released in 1999 to mediocre reviews but good sales. His following albums - The UnderstandingM.A.D.E. and 534 - also received a similar reception, but all have reached Gold status in sales.

In 2005, he announced that he was recording an album titled The Process, which he plans to be a "classic album". Bleek has worked on the album since that time, and it is yet to have a release date. He left Roc-A-Fella in 2009.
