Jason Phillips (born 27 May 1975), better known by his stage name Jadakiss, is an American rapper from Yonkers, New York. He is a member of The LOX, and one of the three founders of the imprint D-Block Records.

After releasing two albums as a member of The LOX, Jadakiss released his debut solo album, Kiss tha Game Goodbye, in 2001 to mixed reviews from critics. His second album, Kiss of Death, was released in 2004 and featured his most successful song to date, "Why?", which charted at #11 on the Hot 100.

In late 2007, Jadakiss signed to Roc-A-Fella Records upon the longtime urging of founder Jay Z. His first album on the label and his third solo, The Last Kiss, was released in 2009. Jadakiss' latest album, Top 5 Dead or Alive, was released in 2015 after having been in production for five years.
