Firing Squad is the second studio album by American Hip hop duo from Brownsville, Brooklyn M.O.P.. It was released in October 22, 1996 under Relativity Records. Recording sessions took place at D&D Studios, Gabriella Studios and Firehouse Studios in New York City from April 1995 to February 1996. Production was handled by DJ Premier, Jaz-O, Laze E. Laze, M.O.P. and Ali Dee and it also features guest appearances from Teflon, Kool G Rap and Battle. The whole album was mixed and overseen by DJ Premier, who continued the work for the next two M.O.P. albums.
The album debuted at #94 on the US Billboard 200 and #12 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Firing Squad spawned the two singles "World Famous" and "Dead & Gone".
