William James Dennis (born 1 November 1966), better known by his stage name Willie D, is an American rapper from Houston, Texas, who gained fame as a member of the pioneering hip hop group Geto Boys. Despite his reputation as a hardcore rapper who pens often provocative lyrics, Willie D is known for his diligent work in the community and many of his songs contain positive messages. He is often called on to speak at universities, high schools, and youth facilities, and he also has a weekly advice column for Vice Magazine.
