Regulate... G Funk Era is the debut studio album by American rapper Warren G. It was released on June 7, 1994 via Def Jam Recordings and Violator Records, with distribution by Rush Associated Labels. Recording sessions took place at G-Child Studios, Track Record, Inc., Saturn Sound and Sound City in Los Angeles through May 1993 to February 1994. Production was handled entirely by Warren G himself, with Chris Lighty and Paul Stewart serving as executive producers. It features guest appearances by The Dove Shack, Nate Dogg, B-Tip, Jah Skills (of Da 5 Footaz), Ricky Harris, O.G.L.B., The Twinz, Lady Levi and Mr. Malik (of Illegal).
The album peaked at #2 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in the United States. Regulate... G Funk Era released the three hit singles: "Regulate", "This D.J." and "Do You See" (which all three songs made it on the Billboard Hot 100, landing at #42, #2 and #9 respectively), with selling over 176,000 copies in its opening week. The album was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
