Heavy D & the Boyz was an American hip hop group led by Heavy D. The group also included dancers/background vocalists G-Whiz, Trouble T Roy, and DJ Eddie F. The group maintained a sizable audience in the United States throughout the late 1980s to early 1990s. The five albums the group released were produced by the likes of Teddy Riley, Marley Marl, DJ Premier, and Heavy D's cousin Pete Rock.
