Down with the King is the sixth studio album by American hip hop group Run-D.M.C., released in 1993 on Profile Records. The album was generally received more favorably by fans and critics than its predecessor, Back from Hell. Down with the King sees Run-D.M.C. adopting a much more hardcore image, similar to that of Jam Master Jay's proteges Onyx. It features a number of guest appearances and producers than previous Run-D.M.C. albums, such as Pete Rock, C.L. Smooth, Q-Tip and EPMD, amongst others.

The album peaked at #7 on the Billboard 200, and #1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. It was the group's final album for eight years, until the release of Crown Royal in 2001.
