Donald Lamont, better known by his stage name Donald D, is an American rapper from The Bronx, New York. Donald D was a member of The B-Boys alongside Brother B and DJ Chuck Chillout, and released five singles as a member of the group from 1983 to 1985. When the group disbanded, Donald D released a single on Rockin' Hard Records in 1987. That same year, Donald D moved to Los Angeles to join Ice-T's Rhyme Syndicate.

After appearing on Ice-T's albums Power and The Iceberg/Freedom of Speech...Just Watch What You Say, Donald D released his debut studio album Notorious in 1989. Two years later, he released the album Let the Horns Blow. However, after Rhyme Syndicate was dropped by their distributor Warner Bros. Records in 1992, Donald D departed the group.

Donald D's musical output since 1992 has mainly been limited to production and guest appearances on other artist's albums. In 2006, he released the EP B.R.O.N.X. (Beats Rhymes of New Experience), but is yet to release another studio album.
