Khaled Mohammed Khaled (born 26 November 1975), better known by his stage name DJ Khaled, is an American record producer, radio personality, DJ and record label executive. Khaled first rose to prominence as a DJ on the Miami-based urban music radio station WEDR, working on Luther Campbell's The Luke Show. Khaled then became a member of Terror Squad, producing two songs on the group's 2004 album True Story, as well as songs on the albums All or Nothing and Me, Myself & I by fellow group member Fat Joe. Khaled previously went by the name Arab Attack, but changed it after after the 9/11 attacks.  

In 2006, Khaled released his debut studio album Listennn... The Album. Since then, Khaled has released a studio album every year except for 2009 and 2014. Khaled's albums feature an all-star line-up of rappers and record producers, with him performing ad-libs and contributing production to some songs. His albums are released through his label We the Best Music Group, which has a roster consisting of reggae artist Mavado, singer Steph Lecor, and rappers Ace Hood and Vado.

In 2015, Khaled's Snapchat videos, which detailed his "keys to success", received significant attention on the Internet. His newfound online recognition has boosted his popularity and made him an Internet phenomenon.
