Back from Hell is the fifth studio album by American hip hop group Run-D.M.C., released in 1990 on Profile Records. It marks the end of a long streak of critically and commercially successful albums by the group. Produced primarily by the group themselves, the album features very little rock influences, and instead sees the introduction of new jack swing to their songs, with several songs featuring Jam Master Jay singing.
The album peaked at #81 on the Billboard 200, and #16 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It received mediocre reviews from critics.
